Blepharoplasty surgery involves delicately removing extra skin and adjusting the fat inside the eyelid. The upper two eyelids can be operated together and the lower eyelids are operated together, but most of the upper and lower eyelid puffs are operated concurrently.
Surgery is usually performed under local anesthesia. In some cases, other surgeries are required in conjunction with blepharoplasty, such as eyebrow lift, eyebrow fixation, lacrimal gland fixation, fat grafting, fat injection, and especially eyelid drooping.
