Patch testing

Patch testing is used to document and validate a diagnosis of allergic contact sensitization and to identify the causative agent. It involves the application of various test substances to the skin under adhesive tape. The skin is then examined a further 24, 48, and 72 hours later for any response.
Topical immunotherapy (DNCB, DPC)

Topical immunotherapy is one of alopecia areata treatments which involves the induction of allergic contact dermatitis by the topical application of potent contact dermatitis.
